FR « La musique, depuis l’âge de huit ans, a été la seule chose qui me paraissait simple et me permettait de me confier, malgré la timidité qui m’a toujours confisqué les mots. C’est le “langage de l’âme”, m’a dit un musicien avec qui je ne parlais quasiment aucune autre langue que celle-ci.
Et l’on n’exprime pas les mêmes choses avec chaque instrument, c’est pourquoi la découverte du cor et du monde des cuivres a été décisive, m’enrichissant autant musicalement qu’humainement. À l’Académie supérieure de musique de Strasbourg — HEAR, j’ai eu le privilège de jouer du violon avec de nombreux musiciens professionnels, notamment l’Orchestre philharmonique de Strasbourg. En faire un métier réclame une extrême exigence, dans l’atmosphère d’une concurrence permanente, couplée à la simplicité, la liberté et la passion de vouloir exprimer ce qu’il y a en nous. »

It is the “language of the soul” I was told one day by a musician, with whom I spoke almost no other language except this one. And one does not express the same things with each instrument. That’s why the discovery of the horn and brass instruments was so important, enriching me both musically and as a person. Thanks to the Académie supérieure de musique of Strasbourg – HEAR, I have had the privilege of playing the violin with numerous professional musicians, and in particular the Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg.
Making a profession out of it is extremely demanding. There is a constant atmosphere of competition, coupled with a simplicity and freedom, and the passion to want to express what is inside us.’
