FR Je m’appelle Axel Nowak, j’ai intégré la HEAR en 2020 après une année préparatoire et un bac technologique en architecture. Avant de m’intéresser à la bande dessinée, je me projetais dans le bâtiment et la construction des espaces. J’ai gardé cet attrait pour l’espace que j’incorpore à chacun de mes projets, tant dans les objets que dans leur narration. Le jeu vidéo a aussi eu sa part d’influence dans les systèmes que j’explore avec la BD. L’idée d’explorer des concepts narratifs, ludiques ou de mise en page me vient d’ici. Désormais j’autoédite mes projets, je souhaite encore explorer d’autres pistes, que ce soit dans l’édition papier ou dans le numérique pour me rapprocher du jeu vidéo.

EN My name is Axel Nowak. I joined HEAR in 2020. Before that, I did a preparatory year and a technical baccalaureate in architecture. Initially drawn to the design and construction of spaces my attention eventually switched to comics. My fascination with space continues to shape all my projects, both through objects and narrative structure. Video games have also played a role in influencing the systems I explore with comics. This is where the idea of exploring narrative, playful, or layout concepts comes from. Now I self-publish my projects, and I want to explore other avenues, whether in print or digital, to move closer to the world of video games.
