FR Une mise en place d’un dispositif, entre installation vidéos, performance (stand-up) et écriture. Le processus de recyclages d’images (anciens travaux, rushs, images d’enfance et références) qui s’allie à une écriture orale, guidé par l’improvisation comme outil pour être dans le présent. Une composition, un montage en direct. Le contenant (le dispositif) est aussi important que le contenu (les thèmes du souvenir, du passage du temps, du langage, des langues, du méta, du storytelling). J’ai grandi entre plusieurs cultures, française, américaine et thaïe, la question de la transmission passe par les histoires. La forme performative est inspirée du stand-up, et d’autres écritures orales servent d’outils pour la narration. L’intime est raconté de telle sorte qu’on puisse s’y projeter.

EN A set-up of video installation, performance (stand-up)and writing. The process of recycling images (old work, footages, childhood home videos and video references) combines with oral writing. It is guided by improvisation, which is the tool for being in the here and now. Composing and live editing. The outside layer (the framework) is as important as the content itself (themes such as memories, passage of time, language(s), meta and storytelling). Having grown up within a mix of French, American and Thai cultures, the idea of transmission is conveyed through stories. The performance art form is inspired by stand-up and other oral forms of writing. They represent a narrative device. Intimacy is shared in a way that allows the public to project their own meaning.
