FR En illustration, la gravure et la sérigraphie sont mes techniques de prédilection pour partager mes travaux car j’accorde une grande importance au processus d’impression qui influence mes couleurs, ma composition et ma manière de créer une image. Je suis illustrateur mais j’ai également d’autres pratiques en parallèle, qui sont tout aussi importantes à mes yeux : lutherie, menuiserie, céramique, papier découpé et autres travaux en volume. Toutes ces pratiques s’entrechoquent, se croisent, fusionnent ; et je pense que ce sont ces associations qui font l’artiste que je suis.
EN When it comes to illustration, engraving and silkscreen printing are my favourite techniques for communicating my works, as the printing process is something I consider to be of the utmost importance, influencing as it does my colors, composition and my way of creating an image. I am an illustrator, but I also have other parallel activities which are just as important for me: making stringed instruments, carpentry, ceramics, paper cutting and other volume-focused creations. All these activities brush up against each other, mix and come together, and I think that these combinations have made me the artist I am.
