FR 26 juillet. Nous voilà donc changés en géologues,
en biologistes, examinant les pierriers qui nous surplombent, établissant des parcours, des menus pour chaque jour. Nous donnons une nouvelle vie à ces pentes impropres, inexploitées depuis plusieurs dizaines d’années, jonchées d’aulnes verts, ici nommés arcoces, d’herbe grasse, d’orties et de myrtilliers. Nous nous emparons de ce terrain, lui donnons une nouvelle robe, pour que, à la repousse, les années suivantes, nous puissions parcourir ces drailles et ces biais d’une nouvelle manière. Nous entretenons, traçons, déblayons et nous voilà donc à suivre aujourd’hui des chemins qui n’existent pas, à chercher, à élaborer, elles avec moi et mes chiens, nous avec elles.

EN July 26. So here we are, changed into geologists and biologists, examining the scree that overlooks us, setting out routes, new menus for each day. We are giving new life to these ill-suited slopes, unexploited for several decades, littered with green alders, lush grass, nettles and blueberries. We take this land and dress it up, so that in the coming years, we can find a new way through these tracks and distortions. We maintain, trace and clear and here we are today, following paths that do not exist, looking and developing, them with me and my dogs, us with them.
