FR Originaire de la région bordelaise, Alba Lajus a commencé le piano à sept ans dans l’école de musique de son quartier. Parallèlement au piano, elle a aussi exploré d’autres instruments tels que la voix (notamment par le chant choral) et le saxophone. Après avoir obtenu en 2018 une licence pluridisciplinaire intitulée « Culture Humaniste et Scientifique » à l’université de Bordeaux Montaigne,
elle s’est pleinement dédiée à la musique.

Pour cela, elle est venue étudier au Conservatoire de Strasbourg, puis à la HEAR deux ans plus tard, auprès d’Amy Lin. Durant cette période, elle a eu la chance de partir étudier une année en Erasmus avec le pianiste Jan Michiels au Koninklijk Conservatorium de Bruxelles (Belgique). La formation à la HEAR lui a ainsi permis d’étoffer son interprétation musicale et de se former à la pédagogie, vocation qui est la sienne aujourd’hui.

EN Originally from the Bordeaux region, Alba Lajus started playing the piano at the age of 7 in her local music school. Alongside the piano, she also explored other instruments such as the voice (especially in choral singing) and the saxophone. In 2018, she graduated from Bordeaux Montaigne University, with a degree in Humanist and Scientific Culture. It was after this that she decided to devote herself full-time to music.

She studied first at the Strasbourg Conservatory, and then two years later at HEAR, with Amy Lin. During her studies at HEAR, she followed a year-long programme on an Erasmus exchange under pianist Jan Michiels at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels (Belgium). The HEAR course gave her the opportunity to develop her musical skills and learn how to teach the subject and this is what her vocation has now become.
