Timothé Anthouard débute l’accordéon à 7 ans au conservatoire régional de Saint-Étienne avec Philippe Bourlois, puis rejoint la classe de Marie-Andrée Joerger à la HEAR. Passionné par la pédagogie, il suit la formation au DE pour enseigner. Fasciné par l’improvisation en solo et en groupe, il s’intéresse vivement au jazz, à la musique du monde et à l’expérimentation musicale. À la HEAR, la rencontre de multiples musicien·nes lui permet de participer à divers projets comme avec le Balkan Express Orchestra ou Symbiose. Le respect, l’ouverture d’esprit et l’amitié sont des valeurs importantes pour lui. Jouer en public lui apporte un élan, une sensibilité et du plaisir à partager.

Timothé Anthouard began playing the accordion at the age of 7 at the Conservatoire of Saint-Etienne with Philippe Bourlois, before at a later stage joining Marie-Andrée Joerger’s class at HEAR to take his DNSPM diploma. His passion for teaching led him to take the DE State diploma course for accordion teaching. A strong advocate of exploring sound through group and solo improvisation,he is fascinated by jazz, world music and musical experimentation. He enjoys playing, improvising and composing with other musicians, such as Symbiose and the Balkan Express Orchestra. Respect, solidarity, open- mindedness, love and friendship are his core values. Playing music in public has always given him encouragement, sensitivity and the pleasure of sharing.
