Je cherche un « espace-temps » ; la sensation d’être immergée dans une ambiance jusqu’à m’y oublier. Cette ambiance se caractérise par un temps palpable, si lent qu’il semble habiter l’espace. L’origine de cette recherche s’ancre pour moi dans un renfermement d’une jeunesse dans la mélancolie. Aussi, j’ai une fascination pour le noir qui va de pair avec mon expérience des souterrains, il y a dans les profondeurs de l’obscurité une impression d’engloutissement, puis je vais trouver là de la lumière, un monde à part. Ma pratique vient s’ajouter comme nouvelle temporalité, je reconstruis une scène, son ambiance et pendant un moment je ne vis plus que dans cet instant suspendu.

I look for a “time-space continuum” in my work – the feeling of being immersed in an atmosphere to the extent of forgetting myself there. This atmosphere is characterized by a palpable, silent time, seemingly inhabiting the space. This search dates back for me to a youthful withdrawal into melancholy. I have a fascination with darkness, which goes hand in hand with my experience of the  underground. There is a feeling of submersion in the depths of the darkness and there I find light, a world apart. My work comes as a new temporality, I reconstruct a scene, its atmosphere and for a moment I live suspended solely in this moment.
