FR Mamie m’a appris à broder avant qu’elle comprenne que j’étais pédé. C’est peut-être de sa faute, faudrait que je la remercie. Ce craft cher à mon coeur, je l’utilise pour dessiner les contours d’une histoire de queerness, de solitude, de love. Elle raconte le chemin d’un Chevalier qui galère à trouver son compte entre les émotions qu’il garde sous son armure et ses obligations de macho man claqué au sol. Il préfèrerait pécho le Décorateur d’intérieur maximaliste plutôt que d’aller slay le Dragon. Blasons, lettrages, fil, peinture et sérigraphie font de cette histoire une fresque mi-intime, mi-flamboyante, mi-stérieuse retraçant les thématiques qui parcourent mon travail de graphiste.
