Une performance chorégraphique et immersive née d’une exploration sensible à Strasbourg, à travers la marche, l’observation et l’élévation du regard. Comment regarde-t-on les histoires, les corps ; la place de l’étranger, de l’immigré, du corps noir dans une ville marquée par les grandes guerres, les alliances et les cicatrices de l’Europe? Le Rhin, une ligne de séparation et de liaison, un espace qui me rappelle les frontières arbitraires imposées à mon continent d’origine. Que se passerait-il si je renversais cette image? Si je faisais
descendre la beauté du sommet à mes pieds ? Et que moi, petit corps au sol, je devenais l’axe de bascule? Le corps comme territoire politique et poétique.
EN Intersecting verticalities — Strasbourg in and through its body.
A choreographic and immersive performance arising from a sensitive exploration of Strasbourg — walking, observing, and looking upwards in the city. How do we see histories, bodies — the position of foreigners, of immigrants, the black body in a city marked by wars, shaped by shifting alliances and bearing the scars of Europe? The Rhine stands as both a boundary and a connection, echoing the arbitrary borders imposed on my continent of origin. What if I turned that image upside down? Brought beauty down from the heights to the level of my feet? And if I myself — a small body on the ground — became the pivot point? The body, as a source of both politics and poetry.
