FR La manière dont j’observe et dont j’écoute le monde se répercute sur mes capacités à percevoir ses variations, ses modulations. Le travail du dessin et du son me permet d’explorer ces différents seuils de perceptibilité et de comprendre comment ils s’interpénètrent pour former ma vision de la réalité. Lorsque l’on s’attache à décortiquer ce que l’on perçoit, il est nécessaire de prendre en compte la marge d’interprétation de ces signaux. L’interprétation s’apparente à une digestion mentale : plusieurs ingrédients sont absorbés, analysés, mélangés et de leur combinaison naît l’impression. Ces impressions, c’est ce qui me permet de donner une dimension narrative à mes productions et d’inviter le spectateur à naviguer dans un univers où certitudes et inconnus ne font qu’un.
EN The way I observe and listen to the world is key to my ability to perceive its variations and its modulations. Working on drawing and sound has allowed me to explore these different thresholds of perceptibility and to understand how they come together to form my vision of reality. If you seek to analyse all that you are able to perceive, then you also have to explore the scope for interpretation offered by the signals. Interpretation can be likened to a mental digestion, whereby ingredients are absorbed, analysed, mixed and then combine to form an impression. It is these impressions that give the narrative dimension to my productions and invite the viewer to travel through a universe where certainty and the unknown are one and the same.
