Née d’une mère pianiste et d’un père luthier, la musique m’a accompagnée dès mes premiers instants. J’ai eu la chance de grandir dans un foyer qui encourageait le chant, la danse, la composition et l’expérimentation sur tous les instruments à portée de mes petites mains d’enfant. Vers mes 5 ans, je me suis fixée sur le violon et mes premières années avec cet instrument ont mêlé apprentissage classique et exploration des musiques traditionnelles et improvisées. Désormais professionnelle, le coeur de mon travail est un jeu d’équilibre entre exigence, autant intellectuelle que technique, et recherche de spontanéité. Mais surtout, je ne suis jamais plus heureuse que sur scène, qu’elle soit petite ou grande, devant une ou mille personnes, seule ou entourée par tout un orchestre.

Born to a pianist mother and a violin-maker father, music was part of my life from the very start. I was lucky enough to grow up in a home that encouraged singing, dancing, composing and experimenting with all the instruments within reach of my tiny child hands. Around the age of 5, I settled on the violin, and my early years with this instrument blended classical learning with exploration
of traditional and improvised music. Now a professional, the core of my work is a balancing act between intellectual and technical demands, and the search for spontaneity. But above all, I’m never happier than on stage, whether large or small, in front of one or a thousand people, alone or surrounded by a full orchestra.
