FR « Point d’ancrage sur le corps, le bijou y définit des rythmes et des mouvements. Il établit une topographie symbolique du corps en orientant le regard et en soulignant une part de notre identité sociale. Le bijou participe ainsi à la construction d’un langage à même le corps. J’investis ce langage par le biais de formes qui empruntent à l’image des plantes et des animaux, qui sont chargées de fortes symboliques. Dans l’atelier, je façonne mes bijoux à coups de pinces, maillets, marteaux mais aussi parfois d’aiguilles pour donner forme à mes réflexions. Dans les thèmes que je développe à travers ma pratique, en lien avec la chasse et la nature, j’interroge la construction plus ou moins violente de rapports de séduction et d’érotisation des corps. »
EN ‘A point of focus on the body, jewellery defines rhythms and movements. It establishes a symbolic topography of the body, orienting the gaze and drawing attention to an aspect of our social identity. Therefore jewellery is used to construct a language on the body itself. I inhabit this language through forms inspired by images of plants and animals that are imbued with strong symbolic values. In the workshops I design and craft items of jewellery using pliers, mallets and hammers, as well as needles, to give shape to my reflections. In the themes that I develop in my work, which are linked to hunting and nature, I explore the more or less violent construction of relations of seduction and the eroticization of bodies.’
